Back-to-back hundreds for Steve Smith! And today's was an absolute classic. 140 from 118 balls with 15 fours and 4 sixes to chase down 307 in just 46.2 overs!
A flamboyant 48 off 44 balls from Virat Kohli and a stubborn 46 off 62 balls from Joe Root also played a crucial role in the completion of this 307-run chase.

Shakib Al Hasan and Rashid Khan picked 2 wickets each with little assistance from the pitch, but were more on the expansive side. Pat Cummins bagged one too.
All in all, this was a convincing if not comfortable win for Sydney Roosters, all thanks to Smith's brilliant innings of 140 and Kohli-Root's 40-odd scores in tandem.

David Warner and Aaron Finch started Crows' innings with a watchful approach, but they were dismissed just as they got settled, before they could truly explode.

George Bailey played a crucial knock and partnered with Shikhar Dhawan to raise 98 runs for the 3rd-wicket. Bailey was dismissed 5 short of a well-deserved fifty.

Back-to-back hundreds for Steve Smith! And today's was an absolute classic. 140 from 118 balls with 15 fours and 4 sixes to chase down 307 in just 46.2 overs!
A flamboyant 48 off 44 balls from Virat Kohli and a stubborn 46 off 62 balls from Joe Root also played a crucial role in the completion of this 307-run chase.

Shakib Al Hasan and Rashid Khan picked 2 wickets each with little assistance from the pitch, but were more on the expansive side. Pat Cummins bagged one too.
All in all, this was a convincing if not comfortable win for Sydney Roosters, all thanks to Smith's brilliant innings of 140 and Kohli-Root's 40-odd scores in tandem.

@Umair2000 has done a very fine job managing them over the years in my ELA. He picked and persisted with the likes of Smith, Lynn etc before they turned into the world class performers they are today, and acquired some other key players at the right moments via trades.
