Cricket 24 - General Discussion

Been ages since I've logged on after selling my PS5 (C24 was really the game I played most). Is the game still riddled with the bugs and issues that it was 7/8 months ago? There are a few games coming out that I like the look of so may well end up getting a PS5 again so would love to get back on C24 if it's in a better, more playable condition?

Just picked up the game a few days back and it's been alright. However I'm really struggling to get wickets in tests even on a grassy pitch. AI level is veteran with 60 wicket chance yet it takes too long to get a wicket. Is there any sliders I can adjust in order to get more wickets?

It's Test cricket. It's not meant too be easy or rushed.

Enjoyed this dismissal.. Was not sure if the ball had hit bat or pad first.. it will be nice if we can have animations where batsmen show their disappointment to umpires.. May be in next title

I am trying to think what is in Cricket 22 and /or 24 that makes it a better game and I can't honestly think of it. Not trying have cheap jabs but i really can't think of it other than yoga lessons......(which is a cheap jab I admit)

Turns out Cricket 24 is my most played game of 2024, which is a concerning thing given I've not touched it since the spring!

Might have to try and grab a cheap copy of Cricket 19 and relive the glory days going into 2025

I played a bit a few weeks ago, having not played in a very long time. I actually had a couple of really good test matches, and a lot of fun
