I am yet to see any AI stumpings or run outs... hopefully someone has.
I'm not sure if anyone else is having difficulties with the sweep shot, which only seems to go horizontal. Reverse sweep is fine though.
Do we know if stamina currently has any impact on the game? Presumably it should impact bowler speed/how fast batsmen can run, as well as injuries? I haven't really noticed a difference when players have low stamina.
It seems that there are a good variety of wickets but need to be more outfield catches.
It would be useful to know if people have any recommended sliders for having the most realistic variety of wickets.
Also, do we know if the latest patch has reduced the variety of edges? I can't really tell.
The patch seems to have fixed quite a few things. The ability to select random conditions is nice and AI totals in tests seem to be a lot better when results are simulated. This is really promising.
I haven't seen any injuries yet so presume that this has been taken out while stamina is fine...
Platform: PS4
Game Version: Patch1.07
Game Mode: Online
Match Type: Any
Teams used: Any Combination
Ground: Any
Issue (one line description): Injuries no longer happening
Bug description (detail): As of patch 1.07 injuries seem to have been removed from the game.
Thanks, either it has been disabled or is bugged since the most recent patch. Hopefully this can be fixed as it was working in the day one version.
Incidentally, I have noticed that when simming matches the twelfth man will sometimes take catches.
I have only been playing since version 1.06 but am yet to see an injury or retired hurt. I have seen these in other peoples videos so looks like they are in the game, but can anyone clarify if these are still in the game?
I haven't seen anyone retire hurt or miss matches due to injury - it would be great if someone could confirm whether this is still in the game and in what modes if so.
Ok, this looks like it is dependent on age, so if you set your players to over about 33 they will decline, and if they are below about 26 they will go up.
I get the impression it may be very sensitive, but see video below. First is lightly pressing R2 and second is with it fully held down using classic controls.
I've had another look at this and if you do push down very lightly on R2 it does seem to do a shot somewhere between a normal shot and stopping the ball in it's tracks. It's hypersensitive though.
Really enjoying the game so far.
One question...not sure if it's a bug or a missing feature. In previous iterations lightly pressing R2 (on PS4) would do a defensive push that didn't stop the ball dead. In Cricket 19 it doesn't seem to be there (Although it is hard to tell as it varies from...
From an initial nets session the game looks great. Quick question though. Are advance ground shots still in the game? I'm sure they were in previous versions but I can't seem to get them to work.
