@WealeyH just wondering what difficulty you are playing on? In my opinion the hardest difficulty should be extremely hard, almost simulation difficulty, that only the best players are able to play at. And I don't just mean the amount of time you see the ball marker for like it currently is.
I've never played one personally, however I feel they could be fun if playing against respectable people, I hate playing online games against try hards that just abuse dodgy mechanics "because they're in the game"
what this game and Ricky Ponting cricket 05 and almost all the other cricket games had that the dbc and ashes titles lack is the commentary. They actually sound like commentators. Dbc and ashes the commentators talk like robots, so slow. There is no conversation between commentators like games...
@WealeyH @Dutch @Llewelynf hey guys, just wondering if you guys have tested batting against genuine medium pacers? I feel they often get forgotten about and are too easy to hit as you aren't challenged by lack of pace or lack of movement. I'd be interested to know if they can be relevant through...
of course im a west coast fan :p I haven't touched the game for a few weeks, I'll definitely try the patch when it comes out but unless it is 10/10 I can't see myself pumping hours into it during winter
EA making a cricket game would be horrendous... Being a hardcore Fifa enthusiast EA are one of the worst companies I have ever seen in any market. They live off micro-transactions, are COMPLETELY silent on issues and deliberately break the game around half way through the year so that everyone...
the game should be better than what it is in this instance, however it's never going to be perfect, I've never played a game that doesn't have a meta play style that allows easier wins
if Brian Lara 2005 is the same as Ricky Ponting 2005 then I have to agree with you, grew up on that game and it had so much good stuff... The scenarios for example, where you had to play through a historic event in matches gone by
you would think that a game that costs $100 would have endured something called game testing... The devs should be making sure EVERYTHING works before releasing patches instead of focusing on one little part
regarding the spin stuff, I hate facing Moeen Ali and receiving 3 or 4 doosras an over... You can't even bowl a proper doosra without throwing it anyways
