DBC 14 PC gameplay overview with latest patch?

my main issue with the console version is the field placings and the outfield (or ball) speed. there are other things I would like to see done but they'd be whole new areas my main problems are. 1. the bat crowding fielders when you block and just moving fielders to where you hit your last...

    India's tour of Australia - December/January 2015

I'm sympathetic to india's suspicion of DRS, for one they don't really seem to benefit from opposing it, they get as many stinkers as anyone. also I think, given that one of the problems of DRS is at heart it depends on how good your players are at knowing when to challenge and if india don't...

    PS3/360 Versions Troubleshooting/Bug Reporting

you mean the ball on the stumps, it's touching. but the issue is the LBW rule says that if the ball hits you outside off and you've offered a shot then it's not out, and the hawkeye indictator said "hitting: outside off".

    PS3/360 Versions Troubleshooting/Bug Reporting

Review bug (possibly) first ball of a T20 bowler balls on offstump. I pre-determine to rock back and cut it over the slips, but it doesn't bounce. it hasn't bounced enough and the top of my pads catch the ball on it's way to the stumps, they appeal and I'm given out. I review. By hawkeyes...

    India's tour of Australia - December/January 2015

It's one wicket, he may get slaughtered, but if we were to do one of those under-rated/over-rated threads again Ishant Sharma should lead the way in the under-rated thread. his average is rubbish, but he is far from the joke he's made out to be, a very clever experienced bowler with real quality.

    English Football Thread 2014/15

given Arsenal and Liverpool's dire form and the envitable waning of southampton it looks like man u are back among the favourites to qualify for europe, squeezing into the top 4 and they only had to spend like £150m to do it.

What Was The Last Thing/s You Bought? Thread

I've been coming here a long time, and I've been aware of this thread for a long time and have never felt the need to post in it. but today I bought an ice axe and as that's probably the coolest thing I've ever bought I will make this my first, and last, post.

Impact of Phil Hughes Tragedy on the Fast Bowlers

that's become common to all sports with protective clothing, american football has a far worse injury record than rugby because all that armour makes them throw themselves at each other with absolutely zero regard for their safety. protective padding has been removed from amatuer boxing too...

Impact of Phil Hughes Tragedy on the Fast Bowlers

good post, T.J. I think introducing rules or extra equipment (though I do not think having umpires wear some form of hard hat is a terrible idea) is unnecessary, there are rules in place already to stop bowling getting too aggressive, protective gear. it's not like hughes was the first person...

    Phillip Hughes 1988-2014

I agree, one of the frustrations of such a terrible thing is that it demonstrates how little control you have over your fate and the world. hughes death should be marked and his life tributed, but trying to change things would only create the illusion that anyone can prevent such freakish, awful...

    Phillip Hughes 1988-2014

heart sunk as I processed the relevance of the dates in the headline. devastating and awful, especially for his family but also fans too. casts a shadow on the game as well, it will be hard to watch cricket without that idea in the back of your head that this game contains the potential to kill...

    England National football team thread

well no, that would mean we rarely, if ever sing. 3rd goal was a bit of a gut punch, would have taken 2-1 with a bit of pressure at the end. game was a bit of a shambles really, I thought we were going to lose it due to lack of penetration and silly mistakes after the first 10 minutes.

Question: is the outfield too slow?

I think it is, but I'm just fed up complaining about things.

    F1 Discussion

this double points thing at the end is stupid, as I understand it, under the normal points system, Hamilton would only have to ensure he finished in the top 6 to ensure the championship but with double points he will actually need to make sure he's in the top 2. I'm not great fan of hamilton but...

    The Book Thread

Varun, I hope you think I'm an alright guy because you are going to be me when you're older. (you have literally identical interests to me when I was around your age) tell me what you think of Black Hole, that book freaked me out, and if I could suggest a comic for you, based on that we like...

    Champions League/European Competition Thread

give don his props here, he said that he thought liverpool would do exactly as tottenham did last year. spend the huge windfall from their one world class player that was winning games single handedly on a load of average tosh and plummet down the league.

What are the standards to be selected in international cricket team?

you have to be professional fit and dedicated well played to shane warne starting his own underwear brand, made those pics of his in his pants with two girls taken with a camera phone impossible to find.

realistically we are looking 8-1 or 9-1 to scotland given how suspect our defense can be.

arsenal's season ticket prices are an absolute disgrace. haha, noticed no prices are listed for rangers though, perhaps because there can be no guarantees that they'll even survive financially until the end of each month.

    EURO 2016 qualifiers thread

fletcher returning has been both surprise and a blessing, when snodgrass comes back from injury that's beginning to have the makings of a pretty good midfield for our level. the rep of ireland look to be the main threat to us making 3rd place, I'm still worried we'll making a meal gilbraltar...
