I feel Ishant Sharma is going to come in and pick some wickets... Hope I'm right!

Bold and good decision by Kohli to hand Karn Sharma the debut cap. Picking him is the right move, I would say! Maybe it might be time to bring him in early and see how the Aussies go about against him.
 
Does anyone know why there's no DRS in this series?
 
There goes the first one! Ishant!!! He has bowled so well so far in this short spell. He deserved that wicket!!! And for once, the slips did not drop the catch. Good one from Dhawan!
 
Need to get Warner out. Ishant needs to bowl over the wicket to Warner and bring his natural angle to get that outside edge. This is where we will miss Bhuvi because even though he is not express, he wouldn't leak that many runs.[DOUBLEPOST=1418086148][/DOUBLEPOST]

It's one wicket, he may get slaughtered, but if we were to do one of those under-rated/over-rated threads again Ishant Sharma should lead the way in the under-rated thread. his average is rubbish, but he is far from the joke he's made out to be, a very clever experienced bowler with real quality.
 
Yes it was a serious question guys. I know India don't like the DRS but they're not the hosts so I was just wondering why it wasn't in place.

I think under the present rules DRS can enforced only if both the sides agree, regardless of who is the host. Since BCCI doesn't believe DRS tech is upto the level it should be, they keep refusing to use it.

Except in ICC tournaments, WC, CT (both of which Ind won) etc., where teams don't have an option on DRS, and where DRS is mandatory and enforced for all sides, Ind have in recent years never played with DRS.
 
Too many bad balls from Varun Aaron. Ishant is bowling well but need to tighten it up from the other end to get a wicket. Ishant has to come over the wicket against Warner.
 
A real tight spell from the Lanky Indian Pacer but bowling round the wicket straightaway is really surprising.
 
Bring back those long days in the field! This first day I'm afraid will be long and boring in the field just like the 2011 tour. See for all of you who didn't want Bhuvi in the lineup, aaron and shami bowling senseless lines and lengths we need someone who has control over their line and length along with ishant to bowl. Also, 4 bowlers??? India is going to find out that 4 bowlers is not enough, you need 5 in overseas conditions to allow others to get enough rest in between spells.
