I've never had a player injured between tests or one dayers in this game. I used to get injuries quite often in cricket 2004.
What's the point in taking 20 players on tour if there's no threat of injury to 1st team players?
Is there a way to hide the bowling display in the corner which shows the direction of movement and pace of the delivery when you are batting?
In my opinion, hiding this when you are batting can only make the game better.
For me this is the most annoying piece of commentary in the game. Is it just me or is every score "just about competitive"?
Anyway what's your most annoying line of commentary in Cricket 2005?
If you have a PS2 controller lying round, I recommend you get something like this: http://www.play.com/play247.asp?pa=srmr&page=title&r=PC&title=114167
I don't know where you are from though so you might not be able to order from Play.
I've only played the game for about half an hour and I have been impressed so far.
I autoplayed through a test match as the Windies against Zimbabwe having a bowl and bat every now and then. The AI seem to set more challenging targets from what I've seen, I made Zim bat first and they made...
Right I have the PS2 version now...
I have only tried a test match so far and I could save in between overs. It takes up over 3000kb on your mem card to save a profile and each match you save takes up an extra 1400kb . doesn't make much odds to me though, i have 2 mem cards and 1 had...
I am going to get this game for PS2 tomorrow. I just want to know before I buy it if you can save in between overs, unlike the Xbox version.
Thanks in advance
Does anybody know if this is the case with the PS2 version? I've had Cricket 2002 & 2004 for PS2 and they both had a save option. I'm going to pick up the game tomorrow for PS2 but if I can't save between overs I mite just have to think again about getting it.
As far as I know, this is the...
Isn't it funny how quick people are to jump and defend BLIC.....
There's so many biased opinions in the EA Cricket forums from BL fans. Who's to say BLIC won't be full of bugs when the full game is released? No game is perfect. Even your beloved BLIC won't be flawless. Just wait until both...
Magazine reviews tell us nothing. The writers of the articles are not cricket fans at all and know very little about the sport.
Because of this, they will not appreciate the same things we do in a cricket game.
I thought fielders were fairly slow in Cricket 2002 and 2004 making it too easy to get 4s. I often found that for every 50 scored, 40 would be from boundaries which is quite unrealistic especially for defensive players. I was hoping fielders would be faster in this version to help cut this out...
Hi bestfriendh, thanks for the review.
I've got a few questions if you don't mind...
1. What's the crowd atmosphere like in ODIs and the Twenty20 cup?
2. How good are the totals posted by an opponent in Tests and ODIs if you autoplay the bowling? In C2004 they seemed a little too low for...
