2007 Cricsim Draft: COMPLETED

If there is no Crusader player there tomorow then why can't you just give them players, or use a new idea to fit in with the timezones?
 
I think maybe the draft should just be done in turns. The team post their player in this thread when it's their turn. It would be much easier and save controversy...

Yep.

Or every team could copy the list of players in the draft and mark them 1 to whatever in priority and then we do it in turns and the team gets the highest player in priority. e.g:

Cricket Crusaders go first and their number one is X so they get him, and then it is the Donkey's turn but their first pick is X so they pick their number 2 who is Y, and then the teami n third for example has their number one taken but their number two is still there so they get Z. Good idea or not good idea?
 
We cud do like, we create a new thread for the draft where only the draft takes place and only the managers post in there and no one else.

Jaz has a good idea too!
 
Yes but surely that is also to complicated. I think a new thread with managers just posting their picks in turn is much easier!
 
Look, im sure someone out of a 11+ team will be able to represent in 9 hours time. For each team, if not, well its quite wierd.

OK well the issue is that I have to go to school on Monday and 12pm GMT is 10:00 pm in Australia, by which time I will be being persecuted for not going to bed. By the time we get the draft over it will be too late.

If I change it to 10:30 GMT (11:30 in England) will that make everyone happier?

Karachi if you can't come ask Brett_Lee to come for you.
 
Doing it manually in threads would take to long, I think thats why Dean want's in done in Cricket Chat to get it all done in the one go.

Last year's draft took AGES to do, I don't want to wait that long.
 
Let me ask Bret_Lee...If he accepts then u ppl can go ahead if not then we should I think use Jaz's idea that he posted in post # 49!

Dean...change me to Pure Batsman!

I know you're a pure, but we aren't going to use Jaz's system because it's too complicated. A regular draft is as simple and fair as anything else.
 
Priority List for each pick appears the way to go

That's 3am our time. I doubt we'd be able to do that. Especially when Dean has to be here.
