The IPL is played in India. They don't get tracks like this in India. As soon as you mix pace with a good bowling attack they struggle. Were decimated by Australia at Melbourne in a T20 iirc, and then by India at Lords in the last WC.

They will immediately put blame on the IPL, the injuries to Virender Sehwag and Praveen Kumar (both are useless themselves, Sehwag is a waste himself in T20). Gary Kirsten will say "We couldnt monitor the players fitness while they were in IPL". Truth is, unless we find batsmen who can handle short pitched bowling well, we will continue to give performances like this. Only thing we can do is, use our cricket board's financial clout and make sure host countries prepare pitches with less bounce and pace.

Seriously, this team doesnt deserve any following. Our first tournament win was a fluke.
