Just found vision in time to see SL getting back on target for a big score. Geez what is with the boundaries? He hit that into the crowd, but it looked like the hoardings were only two thirds of the way.

Canada not entirely embarrassed yet. Sangakkara and Jayawardena formed a classy and devastating partnership, but Canada's effort at the death was commendable. There were also some odd chances and maybe things would have been interesting if they'd cracked that partnership.

The result is all but settled and one suspects it will be all too difficult for the Canadian batsmen to survive those unorthodox spinners, but all the same, let's hope there's another big innings left in the night.

This is totally pathetic. B Grade teams shouldn't be allowed in the World Cup. The World Cup format is such that the Top 8 Teams will make it to the Quarter Finals. But the irony is that only 8 Countries play Cricket at a Serious Level.
Thi format works in Soccer where 32 Countries do play Soccer at a very Serious level.

Should have had a format where the 8 "Real" Cricket teams play each other round robin and then the top 4 go to the Semis.

Wow SL got to 332, I thought they would settle for 270-280 on which looked like a difficult wicket to bat on. Hats off to Jayawardene and Sanga, they are just too good players to miss out against Canada in any condition.
