If a team doesn't submit a squad for the tournament and gets ejected, does the next highest ranked side in the rankings moves into the tournament or will the team they were supposed to be facing simply get a bye?

During global events, a team that fails to submit their squad within the deadline gets replaced with the next best-ranked team.

True, but I'm sure they know it's just in case the other teams don't come through on time. If it were irl then yeah I wouldn't but on here I think it should be fine
