2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup - India (UAE/Oman)

Unbelievable after the super 12 game against the Aussies that they are the ones the make the final. Bit of a reverse of 2019 where they dominated the group game but got smashed in the semi.

Such a game of fine margins. T20 does obviously have a skill element but there is a huge amount of luck involved as well. Ali takes that catch Pakistan win, yesterday if Bairstows knee doesn't scratch the boundary or Livingstone reads the flight of the ball then England probably win.

Not to mention the toss. No coincidence that the chasing side has won both semis. Its a real shame that its more than likely that the winner of the toss on Sunday will win the game

Stat: If Pakistan made it to final, Babar would've broken record of VK for highest run scorer in T20 WC set in 2014. Nevertheless, a lot of tournaments ahead, he'll do it one day

But shame on Indian selectors and captain for picking such a bad team this time.
Nothing to have shame about it. We were just not good and as it has been the case over the years. It's not shameful to not find the best lot out of a millions. It's just that we have too many players right now to fill certain spots but not every spot that we require. We can get rid of it if the resources we have are utilised in the right way.

If there is something to be ashamed about is the quality of Cricket we played.

To be honest I wasn't even expecting Pakistan to get this far so Well done anyway.
Good luck to Australia in the final.
