The difference here being they may play India/ England in the Final.

In 1992, they played England (runners-up of the previous 50 over edition).

If we consider for a moment that England were awared the 50 over World Cup, the Pakistanis can very well repeat the hysterics of 1992. But for this to become a fairy tale, ideally would have wanted either NZ or Australia in the Finals.
