If they took their catches against NZ, they had a good chance of beating them too.

That game was horrendous miscalculation from their management. They should have batted first in that match. Also I think they learned a lot from that game which showed in yesterdays game.

South Africa vs India at the Eden would be a thriller. South Africa adept at setting 375+ totals and India adept at chasing with ease.

Though, I'd still like them to swap roles and see how they fare.

Would love to see a South Africa-India final.

There's every possibility of that happening. Though it will mean a heartbreak for New Zealand, who, in all likelihood should meet SA in the semi-finals.

They were fearsome in the 1990s. It is sheer bad luck they didnt win 3 on the trot then. They were the best side in each of the World Cups of the 1990s. The closest they followed up was in 2015.

I admit they are playing really well now, but the emotion of those previous ones seems to be missing here. That said, I would be quite happy if they won (though hopefully, they don't beat India on the way to the Finals or in the Finals)

Think Bangladesh got away with that one because it was the Afghanis first game and because Shakib took them down. They’ve looked a different side after that and could have well taken the points had it been played now.
