England v Netherlands

The Dutch might upset the apple cart if England don't stick to their basics. What they need to do, is repose their faith in Malan, Stokes and Moeen. I'd like to see a swap between Buttler and Bairstow. I'd also like to see them give Sam Curran (who incidentally almost won his side a game the last time they played India at Pune) and Harry Brook a go. England have nothing to lose, so they can be a dangerous side today

Afghanistan may learn much more from this defeat than if they had won. It’s a pity but they got a lesson on temperament and focus on finishing games. After getting 7 wickets they were almost waiting for Australia to fold over. Also got to maintain high fielding standards to play consistently at this level.

Netherlands have a sharp fielding outfit. Much better than Afghanistan.

Root needs to be benched vs Pakistan. Adds no value at all. To top it off, he played an absolutely horrid cricketing stroke. Rubbish!

Also don't get the logic of playing Moeen over Livingstone.

I'll post what everyone else has said already: what an innings and possibly the greatest ever played in a world cup in not across all ODIs. Fantabulous, marvelous, magical and beyond words! Honestly, I've never watched cricket and said "wow" so many times in a row.

Maxi magic.

What applecart?

England dont even have any apples left.

A win here is useless, pointless, may as well lose and actually provide some excitement.

Although I think the score is already big enough for Neds.

Well, at least now there's a Ben Stokes hundred for England this WC. The rest should be forgiven. What do you say @wasteyouryouth
The fact that they've put some runs on the board will make a victory for Netherlands all the sweeter.

Just bemoan the fact that Stokes has had a decent year and wonder how good it could've been if he was more than 50% fit.

We are seeing why associate teams are, well… associate teams.
