Saw that, while I am not in any position to take stands on who is right or wrong as I have no idea about he history I have no problem whatsoever what players post or do outside the stadium as long as it is something not awful. Like I will have a problem with a player if he or she would outside a stadium drink and drive and kill someone.
I don’t think the ICC should be intervening or handing out anything either for what players do outside of their games since they aren’t their employers in the first place. There’s no real jurisdiction for them in these events.
If a player posts something uncomfortable or poor then their own cricket board should be acting on it seeing they are the primary employer and it is their team image that gets affected if there’s something controversial.
(In no way am I using the current examples of what Mo or Rizwan posted for this take since I’ve neither seen what they did post nor am I aware enough of the issue at hand.)
