I think the though process was Nawaz was going to give you wicket-to-wicket bowling - and with tailenders, you're hoping the miss it. A T20-esque approach.

Usama would only get you a wicket by getting the batsman to hit out by looping the ball. Only 5 needed, I think they could have knocked it around with him.
