The ICC Men's T20 World Cup is an international cricket tournament organised by the International Cricket Council.
The tournament is one of the most-viewed sporting events in the world, and is considered a flagship of international cricket.

2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup

The 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup will be the ninth edition of the tournament, and the first played in the United States.
Alongside the United States, the West Indies will co-host the tournament which is scheduled to run from June 1 to June 29, 2024.

West Indies will play hosts to the Men's T20 World Cup for the second time in their history, having previously hosted the 2010 edition.
Much like the 2010 ICC World Twenty20 (as it was called back then), the final will be played at the Kensington Oval in Barbados.

The tournament will be contested by a record 24 teams, an expansion from the 16 teams that took part in the previous edition.
England will enter the tournament as the defending champions, having defeated Pakistan in the final of the 2022 tournament.

RULES

Squads

Each team is required to name an 18-player main squad at the start of the tournament.
All teams must designate a captain (:c:) during squad announcement; they can not be sacked.

Domestic players can also be selected unless they have announced retirement, or are presumed retired.

Playing XIs are required to contain at least one wicket keeper (:wk:/:wkb:/:arwk:) and six bowling (:arwk:/:bwl:/:ar:) options.
Designated captain (:c:) at the start of the tournament can not be replaced or dropped unless injured.

Please mark your wicket keeper with †/:wk: and your bowlers with ^/:bwl:.

Tie Breaker

In case of a tied playoff match in the Qualifying Bracket or the Elimination Bracket; a Super Over will be used as a tie-breaker.
