Australia's innings was headlined by the 132-run Head-Smith partnership which laid a solid foundation for their team to finish on a high, but a remarkable comeback with the ball, led by Varun Chakravarthy and Mohammed Shami restrained the Australians from even crossing into 300 and bowled them out for a subpar total of 281.
