22nd Match, Group E: England v New Zealand at Gros Islet

I think NZ will win this and make their customary semifinal.

England will not like to lose their winning form and that's what SA and Pakistan want.

I'll say it again. If Ryder and McCullum both fail, we will lose. We need one of them to get going

Taylor's a given fail...especially against two spinners.

It'll be interesting to see how England go with no KP, still got high hopes though.

Meh, fairly confindent we'll win this. England without Kevin Pietersen doesn't look like that much tbh...... Hoping this doesn't come back to bite me.

As far as team selections go, please get rid of Gareth Hopkins now, it really isn't working this little experiment tbh (although he's probably a better bat then Nicol and Redmond in the middle order). Tim Southee's got to come back in for Ian Butler too, different pitch and Butler's death bowling for the most part is rubbish (we can't have Mills/Bond/Butler all bowling around the death).

They won't get rid of Butler after what he did in the last match... Nicol could bat better than Hopkins though, and gives us another bowling option. If McCullum doesn't want to keep, get Ryder in behind the wicket :D

Do you guys think that Vincent and his half bat would add more to the team than Guptill or Hopkins? I certainly do and it was a real stuff up by the selectors not to pick him as he was in brilliant form in Domestic T20. Ryder McCullum Vincent would be a great top 3, or one of them could shuffle down if we had got rid of Hopkins.

Yeah they wont, but they should.

And Vincent could keep :O

His non-selection was similar to Styris' and look what he's done...

Lou Vincent's HRV stats as follows:

11 innings 290 runs at 29 with a strike rate of 128.88, highest score 105*

Martin Guptill's:

8 innings 253 runs at 36.14 with a strike rate of 143, highest score 97*

Lou Vincent produced two good knocks last season and was very overrated because of them, he had no reason to feel like he should have been picked tbh.
