5th Test: England vs Australia at the Brit Oval

Australia's overnight total will make todays play very interesting, I am excited to see how Australia bat. We'll see what position (if any) they're in at 6:30 this evening.

I just get a feeling that we will get an exciting finish even though Australia are losing it.

Michael Hussey to finally do something this tour, 100 NO by the end of the day?

I've got a feeling either him or Ponting will rack up a big score here.

Who knows, since this game's not gonna end up as a draw we might even see another Edgbaston '05. This time Australia get all out for 543 and the last man to get out will be Peter Siddle to Steve Harmison.

I'd prefer not to see either Ponting or Hussey today :p
Hussey will know if he fails here his career is all but over. Definitely his Test career. Hayden managed to save himself after a dreadful Ashes at this very ground so who knows.

If that were to happen, honestly it'd probably be Hilfy.

I have to say, I am loving these signs from Broady. It's like he's learning his method, and what he actually wants to do. He was trying to be a genuine quick before and trying to bowl back of a length, but I think he's realised that he gets movement in the air and off the deck when he pitches it up. He's dropped his pace a little to allow him to bowl longer spells and to help his accuracy. His action should allow him to have that excellent accuracy, and he should be looking to make himself into a McGrath-esque bowler.

:(

That doesn't look promising. Love the crowds reaction to it though.

Surely Trott should be at slip? Nick Knight regards him as the best slip catcher in County Cricket atm, but Collingwood's in. Doesn't make much sense really. Get Trott into slip please.
