5th Test: England vs Australia at the Brit Oval

Wow, big knock for Hussey, this is the time!

Covvy added 1 Minutes and 31 Seconds later...

The pitch is a bloody disgrace:facepalm

Okay this pitch is a minefield, I take back my Hussey and Ponting 100's prediction.

Harmison = crap
Broad = crap(don't care about the first innings)
Flintoff = if he had another leg he would do something.
Swann = is alright but not a real wicket taker.
Anderson = only good in swinging conditions

This all adds up to an australian win.

A crap enough attack to take the Ashes!

Good start by England.

I think that, with a quality spinner and a firing pace attack, the pitch is very hard to bat on. With Australia's one-dimensional attack however the pitch starts to look quite good.

Yep. It's nice to not have those lovely West Indies pitches!

Hussey is so stuffed, leaving and defending ain't going to do much if the scoreboard isn't ticking, hes still on his pair as well.

The key wickets to fall will be Ponting and Clarke. If they get their eye in, they'll make at least 70 or 80 each in no time, and that's just for starters.

I still think the Aussies have a 250-run partnership in them somewhere in the batting order to take this to Day 5.

Its a bit early for this but it will be interesting to see how England do in South Africa

If Broad keeps bowling like he has in this game, we bin Harmison and pick the right batsmen, I think we'll do well. Can't see us winning the series, but I think we'll put up a decent fight.

Collingwood to retire from Test cricket after this game? What you reckon? I think there's a chance of it, wouldn't be bad for England either, can't see him performing in South Africa.
