Good effort from Hussey. Saved his career. Can't drop him now.
Interesting series stats from Hussey. He's only performed in the games where Aus have been outplayed and not in the ones where they've been on top.

England can not loose from here mate. Chasing a total of 500 is not a joke.
If these two make it till stumps (which is entirely possible) then Australia are favourites imo.
Give a player enough chances and they are bound to get one. Same happened with Hayden in 05. Hussey's job still isn't done.

He's never looked particularly out of touch though. He's struggling to know where his off-stump is a little, but he's been hitting the ball nicely everytime he's avoided leaving straight ones on 0. I wouldn't be contemplating dropping him if I was an Aussie selector.

When in the match/series have they not been favourites in your opinion? Somewhat undermines your opinion.
Really makes you think what if Ponting wasn't run out. We always find a way to dig ourselves into a bigger mess.

People have been quite harsh on Hussey. When a guy isn't in form, people tend to discount the good innings they play and also make light of deliveries that swing into the top of off stump.

Actually, scrap my last post. Actually starting to get abit worried myself now. If these 2 are there at the end of the day, they'll need about 180 with 5 wickets in hand, that's very gettable. If only we could catch......
