This Smith innings is being massively over-rated by the commentators. Should have been out about 4 times. Not looked in particularly good form, got lucky with a few chipped shots in between fielders. Sure he's played well, but nowhere near as good as the commentators are making out. He's a twat as well.

It's not Smith's fault, that you guys didn't account for your chances. It's a great innings because of the target, and the added responsibilities of being Captain and leading your side from the front. He's also stayed calm, and hasn't let the run rate go to Saturn.

When it swings Jimmy's a legend. On flat surfaces with no swing he just doesn't seem to have enough in ODi cricket. He is experienced though, so he's got that in his favour. To have 151 ODi wickets at his age is very impressive.

What is wrong with England at the end of an innings? They try all these fancy plans, when really all they need to do is get a split field in and bowl normal yorkers. If Broad's accurate enough to bowl round the wicket and full out-side off-stump to righty's, then he should be good enough to bowl normal yorkers.
