Thursday's Training Session

Well today has got to have been the best day of the year so far. Really warm and sunny meant it was time for the jumper to be left in the sports bag :)

We spent lunch time today discussing what had happened on Saturday's match and the positive's and negative's we could take from it. The key thing we got, was that we need to defend our wickets more and not try to be so agressive.

Same routine as normal up at the pitch. I spent some time in the nets although I got the short straw in being the one who had to use the all-weather one where you get some ridiculous bounce :mad That really screws your game up. Only good thing is that it's practically impossible to get out as everything just goes too high :)

We went out for a practice match after this and this is when disaster struck. Keeping of our fastest guy, we only had a second slip due to a shortage of fielders. The batsmen edged it and due to their not being a first slip I had to dive full out. Unfortunately so did second slip who ended up parrying into the side of my head :mad A nice lump there now but nothing serious.

I didn't get a go in the middle but already the team is looking in much better form then last week and this week's opposition are rubbish so we can expect an easy win.

Saturday's Match

Very little need's to be said. We absolutely thrashed them. Bowled them out for 32. Out I go, ready to have a quick knock. First ball, I try to hit for six, inside edge, golden duck, thank you very much :noway Not a happy person

Training tomorrow if the weather is good
