I also believe, dependant on our team set up, that a 4-3-1-2 formation would be best, with me playing just behind the two strikers! and of course if things were getting tight late on and we were winning by a goal or so we could always bring off one of the strikers for an extra midfielder or defender and put me upfront!

Well we will have to see how our team spans out, if we get enough players then im sure we could have a wide variety of formations. I dont like the simple 4-4-2 it has its good points but it has more bad ones and could easily be dismantled by the opposition!

Need to be creative if we want to do well!

i would have recommended the 5-3-2 but we would hardly score goals then... but yet again... maybe we can decide that after seeing the whole squad

im thinking a 3-5-2 atm which gives 2 wingbacks a crucial role. what do you think?

I personally thik wing-backs are more trouble than what they are worth, leaving the defence slightly bare and the midfield crowded.

Sam has a nice idea going although I think a 4-1-2-1-2 could also work, four defenders in a conventional manner, a holding midfielder, two wings, and someone playing behind the striker. Just my 2 cents.
