hey friend 863 plz tell me how to replace dds files with that big editor software plz help me with it & also tell me whether ashes 09 runs in vista & 7?

M/B-Gigabyte 945 GCM S2L
CPU-Intel C2D 2.44 GHZ E-600
RAM-2 GB
Graphics-Nvidia GEForce 9400 GT-(shader 3.0,1.5 Gb memory)
DX-9.0c

will these config are enough to run in win vista & 7?

Don't use it if you don't know what you are doing. This is a pre-alpha release which isn't user friendly and is likely to have bugs.

Isn't it possible to make the BIG file selection custom instead of fetching from registry? It will be really cool .

There is only one file to my knowledge that uses this format. Adding a prompt to select a big file only adds another step for the user to perform. However, a file selection dialog is displayed as a failsafe when the path to the file is not present in the registry.

It could be helpful when you want to select any backup file instead of original.

Its a bug. You've mentioned it before, and I've taken note of it. There is nothing I can suggest except waiting till its sorted.

abbh please release next version of the editor because this editor is not working
on vista when i open the editor this error on screen (big archive could not be read)

I just got windows vista and now the prob is that when i open the big file i cant see the names of the files
