AC09 BIG Editor v1.0

every one i am unable to run ashes 09 big editor it shoes failed to open/create file 3 please help me out.

Read my instructions just a few posts above.

Hey everyone! Whoever is having problem with this file, I have finally figured a way to fix it!
Step 1. Click 'Start' and search for 'regedit.'
Step 2. Open regedit.exe
Step 3. Expand(Click the plus button) on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SOFTWARE
STEP 4 (IMPORTANT). This step is for users with 64 bit system. Make sure you also open Wow64Node
Step 5. Expand/open Codemasters>Ashes 2009 and then open Path.
Step 6. Put the path of your original Ashes 2009
For example my path is G:\Ashes 2009
Make sure you put the correct path!
If this solved your problem, you're welcome.

Can anyone of u plz help me?
I just Downloaded Big Editor v1.0 and replace the Kit files and when i start the Game It doesn't start(Crash) It says Program Stop Responding!
Can Anyone Plz Help me?

Hey Now just take it easy . See Where is your game Is It in the C:/ Or not If not just copy the game on C:/ And Than try Big Editor . If you have Direct X installed its open correctly without any error. If not than try this Online Direct X web Installer.........

Hope Its Works!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Nafi!! Suddenly my big editor is not working. the message is showing as Winrar Diagnostic message: "Cannot execute"c:\users\manoj\appdata\local\temp\rar$EXa0.027\BIGeditor.exe"

And another message comes:
Warning: BIGeditor.exe will be compressed only after closing the application using it.
modifications will be lost if you close the winRAR before that.


Please help me I'm not able to put any new patches.

It is recommended that you extract the rar archive containing the editor to the disk before running the editor so that cache file can be saved to a permenant location.

BIG Editor v1.0​

The BIG Editor lets you browse, edit the big archive(async.big.w32) which contains almost all resources used by the game.

Note: It will take some time for the editor to start on first run. It builds a directory hierarchy and saves it in a file named "Cache". Make sure you run the editor after extracting it from the rar file so that the cache file can be saved to reduce loading times on subsequent runs.
You may need to install the latest directx runtime if you get an error while opening the editor.

I am still getting an error of Failed to open/create file 5
Please help

Hi Nafi! I tried few things and later my editor started working..it happened twice n I fixed it..
