what happens? sometimes when i try, it appears to freeze but takes about 5 mins, then it is fine? don't know what yours is like but i suggest trying this

Does the PS3 version let you install the game on its hard disk? The current version of the editor won't work but if the PS3 version allows you to install the game on to a hard disk then it might work in the future. I'm pretty sure the archive formats are similar on all three platforms.

The ps3 version runs off the disc only as far as I am aware. I have never come across anyone who had a game running off the ps3 HD unless it was a downloaded game.

XBOX360 on the other hand allows you to copy your games to the hard drive (dont quote me on this) as far as I know.

Ill ask around on PSN right now, will post again if I get a different answer.

^ Copying the game on the Xbox 360 HDD wont make it editable at all. As all the Xbox 360 games are copied in a single massive proprietary file on the HDD & not in small files that we know of.

Wouldn't the file format be cracked by now if all XBOX360 games are stored using the same format? I haven't ever used a XBOX so I could be wrong.
I saw some code which makes me believe that all three platforms are using similar archive formats. If the game can be read from and written to HDD, then it might be editable on consoles.

Wait for the next version. It is likely to be a bug in the editor.

Whoever is getting this problem -
For me it was a silly mistake.
I am using Vista.
So we have to run the program as an administrator.
It works swiftly that way.
Try running the program as an administrator.

There are some issues with Windows XP of the editor IMO.
