Yes,thats my question, which is a better option.I would like to play some games but not a game freak.I would like to use a lot of softwares.I will install windows via bootcamp. So is it advicable to go for a Mac or Alienware?
I live in Chennai,India.

Alienware is the ultimate but in India you may encounter some heating issue.(Happened to me).

Also make sure your warranty is for a larger duration.Other wise you will be left with an unrepairable system.

Alienware overall is pretty terrible tbh... heavy, bulky, and have terrible overheating issues from what i have experienced.

Thanks guys.Settled in with m14x Alienware and its been more than a week.I am really impressed i should say.Games are too too good in this.Ashes 09 for instance is running like a butter, better than even it runs in ps3!

Don't waste your hardware on Ashes 09! Play high-end games with everything maxed out while winter lasts. Summer come and overheating issues will start to show up unless you have a constant air-conditioning system. :thumbs

My Alienware will be in AC for 24*7 mate :thumbs

WTF? Alienware is Dell how can you compare it with Macintosh? Alienware is over priced set to rip off any stupid gamer thinking gaming on a laptop is good and Macintosh well what games can you play on 1? Em 0. And how do you upgrade both?
