I saw that on the news the other day but I thought they were just kidding. Ha! Crack up.

Finished up watching all Seasons of this mega series "24". Season 7 was exciting enough although as with most of the other seasons, the desperation to get to the end was palpable.

I was so disappointed that Audrey was not brought back in this season. I miss her chemistry with Jack. She has been superb. Apart from David Palmer, no other President was as convincing. Tony's evilness and his reasons were half baked. The White House siege was the best part and was exciting enough. Jack as always, kicks major ass. Renee probably will have a romantic connection with Jack next season. She was good

I think Season 8 is going to be the end of the show. Cant see them prolong this series past that. This series has been about Jack, they cant have anyone else become the main protagonist of the show. Without Jack, the show ends.

I'm glad I changed my tune and gave it a shot as I'm putting it up there with 24 as my favourite TV show.

i thought there was a thread on 24, couldnt find it. but i remember you guys talkin about 24 in this thread, so i am just gona talk about 24 here.

new season starts tomorrow. 2 hrs premier. i might watch it.

oh and that show host from Slumdog Mill is in it. i just sow him on the preview. thats pretty big for him i guess.

Haha not your fault of course that you don't know, but the guy was like in every hit movie in the 90s. Him and SriDevi were the hot couple. I still remember Mr. India like it was yesterday, and that was in 1987!!

and slumdog is a easier way to discribe him. because pretty much every 1 seen it. it was big world wide, not just in India. and thats how the non-bolly fans know about him.

Season 8 is starting its air from January 17th. I am very excited! Badly want to see Jack Bauer kick mighty ass again.

Anybody watched the premiere of Season 8 on Sunday, Jan 17th? What happened? I completely forgot about it and when I switched on the TV, Jack was lying on a bed in the hospital, a doctor was standing in front of his legs, and a Muslim guy enters the room and talks to Jack, who looks a bit in pain or something. The time counter at that moment said "7:44" or something. I recorded from that point and it recorded a total of 22 mins. Was it part of Season 7?

I am watching the show tonight (starts at 8pm Eastern standard time)

Edit: Never mind. The part that I watched on Sunday was a recap of Season 7's ending where Jack is on the bed in hospital. Watched the first four episodes of Season 8. BRILLIANT!! The same thrill and excitement, in a new different setup with some of the iconic characters! This time seeing it live gives it more excitement. Cant wait for the rest of the episodes to unfold.

Yeah nice start to the story. Renee will be very interesting. Anybody else just absolutely hate the head of CTU? Not just as a character but as an actor. Can't stand the guy. Also could've done without the plot holes.

Yeah, me too cant stand that guy. Bill Buchanan or even Ryan Chappele were very good!

Chloe is doing as good as she has ever had. Initially I hated her. But now I love her after Jack. Dana Walsh is good too.

Funny, I found her annoying as well. Come to think of it, I'm not very fond of the cast, Anil Kapoor and Benito Martinez excepted. The latter would've made a great Hastings. He did an incredible job in The Shield. And I just can't seem to take Freddie Prinze Jr seriously.

Tonight, it will be Episode 5 to be aired. Jack and Renee are back together now. Wonder what they're going to be upto.

i have to say episode 6 seems to be where this season has finally begun to kick into gear. i am enjoying it as i always have.

it reallywouldnt shock me if this is the final season though
