I am using PC always from iPhone only. Rarely use my lappy to login for PC unless it is a FC registering/story updating.

I selected PC mobile skin, click 'Forums' in phone browser & 'Add to Home Screen' option from phone, thats it. It will add the icon of PC like an app which will take straight to 'Fourms' page everytime you click.

Yes you can, but you're better off using the normal version of PC on the bigger screen of the tablets.

I know we can bookmark the page on our homescreen. But having a app for it is like a whole new level.

Because it's far easier to manage all the forum features and experience with a single website than trying to replicate them in an app.

I've never understood why people need an app for everything - we're a website, use a web browser.

...the "mobile site" viewing option is fantastic anyway. Short load times, no notifications. It's perfect.

I can understand a forum app if its a big forum that needs it; or if an online version is available. I use Awful app to browse and post on SA, and its as good as you're going to get with one of these online things (and its remarkable that it works considering how much of a hodge-podge of different things SA is). Planet Cricket doesn't have the userbase to develop and bug-fix a specialist forum viewing app, especially when there is a mobile site that works very well.

Also, please don't use that bloody pay-for one, which apparently charges you ?3 for an awful forums experience!
