an idea of what the 1st patches will be

I was just going thru some screenshots on the c2005 ea website and found certain things which i'd like to see different. considering all what the developers have said, i would like to know what the others think and like to see changes in :

Things i would like to see changed ...

1. bats
2. wickets
3. adboards

im sure these are also the most easiest to make, and will bring more realism to the game. this thread is more like a "wish list forum" which we would like our genius patchers to eye

adboards r a must.they add authenticity to the atmosphere.

Before playing the game, the patch makers have no idea of how to make new stuff until an importer is made. Just because they have made it big in this Cricket 04 game doesn't mean they will in the new game.

this is more like a "wish list" not necessarilly what we can get : more like from what we have heard from ea developers and seen in screenshots, the immediate things we think would need changes to make it more real ...

Changes to the advertising will be a must, I agree. And alterations to players names and uniforms. I'm quite concerned about one of these cricket games that might not be having real names. That will have to be patched quick-smart. I'm not going in to bat as "Rehaul Droovid".

I would like to see Hawk-Eye in EA's Cricket 2005 - can the patch makers make that?

can we do anything about the crowd so that it varies and is not always the same like fifa or rugby 2005 ?

We simply don't know what, if anything, we'll be able to patch, so there's no point asking yet.

If it's anything like C2k4, bats will be the only thing for the first 2/3 months. However, as Tom has said elsewhere, if the format is like the .big of Rugby2005 it could take a lot longer.
We definitely won't be able to add Hawkeye though.

the bats patch will definitely improve the realism of the game i feel, though like most the senior guys say we wont know till we get the game to figure out what is needed and what can be done.

trying to add a hawk eye to c2005 would be AWESOME

It would also be nice to put some music in when boundaries are hit ... like we can customize for each batsman and like after they reach a milestone the players fav song shld go on. It would be sikkk if we can just put in any mp3 file or sometin ... is this a possibility?
