Its the staffs who will discuss and take right decision
I am trying to give my best opinion as my research
I am trying my best to contribute to site in my level
Part-1-Important feedback
I assume you spend a good amount of money on hosting
I have a advice to reduce this and save money
Like you are non profit heliohost.org is similar
They accept only donation as only means for hosting
Only Vps are paid and that to very cheap
They are fully non-profit organization
If you donate you can get more unique features and more power of hostings
Its free plan is best than any paid hosting I will say ever
Unlike other free hostings they are open-source and community based like you
and really good believe me
In free plan they give unlimited bandwidth and full cpanel and many features
I personally used them for very long time and you can
find about their ratings and they are best website hosters at cheapest possible price
I will request Staffs to visit
heliohost.org and have a look
They also have dedicated vps at lowest price ever
I am not promoting them but saying they are best so please have a look at them
before saying
I will request Staffs to have a look especially important feedback
Part-2 Improvement
I would like to suggest some more features ideas from others Forums
All ideas are taken from others forums and social accounts
1.In posts we are able to edit posts as when we want but in conversation
we cant edit previous msg to which someone replied we can only edit till someone
has replied
2.Also to archive and then delete expired/closed threads which are no longer required
after certain time to clean up the forums so that all topics are active and fresh
Many Forums I saw following this so I put this in suggestion
3.In conversation we can add invite member but cannot remove, this is a kind of restriction if
possible
4.Like youtube/adsense make stepwise similar ban system.
Instead of direct ban first give warning/1-week ban second ban 1-month and final permanent ban
like google adsense or you skip the 1st warning as adsense dont gives but youtube gives
For banned members to prevent begging spamming for unban there should be one only chance for application for unban like adsense by email.After that all be not accepted
5.Inactive accounts should be deleted,deactivated like facebook/twitter other forums
etc by a warning email to keep clean
6.There should be device login history for security for 1 month
7.Use of re-captcha may be allowed to prevent fraudulent logins and fight spam
This would ease the working of staff
8.Since PlanetCricket default style has been over 10 years it will be better if you change default style
to others because guests cannot change although members can
Hope this helps and I hope this will Staffs will surely consider this be a useful post
It would be better if Staffs Give comments and discuss about this if possible
Awaiting a Staffs Response about this and I am sure they will
