April 2 - India v Sri Lanka - The Final!

Nita Ambani has gone to sleep and Aamir Khan was avoiding the camera :p

Gambhir and kohli both out of form and as expected looking scratchy at the crease.

i just hope they dont do another "misbah" here....

Are you not expecting it, they would crawl at hardly 2 runs per over now. I don't see India winning this, only two-three solid efforts can take us home.

----------

Followed by Srilanka's lowest mandatory PP score, it's India's lowest mandatory PP score. Good work lads.

41-2 after 10 overs. So far it's going good for Sri Lanka.

I see there is no slip anymore, but they should have. Also one of the fielders should be around the midwicket area where Gambhir just hit a four.

Perera is now wasting the great start. Already 7 runs of 3 balls given.

Big 10 overs from Randiv to come. That's where this game is being determined for me. India have the players to chase this down.

I'm not super confident really. perera and kula are alright but not brilliant, so it depends on their rythm and whether the batsmen is able to unsettle that.

normally the spinners would take charge for sri lanka, but god knows what Randiv will be like without any match practice and how long murali will last with his injuries. it's good that sehwags gone, even though he'd have been fun for the neutral, if he'd got on top it might have been a walk in the park for india

Kulasekara is unfortunate to catch that ball. He should have run a bit earlier towards the ball.

Sri Lanka is giving too many runs away.

Gambhir just got run out yet again. Man Virat is the best running partner he'll have until Dhoni.

cricinfo is behind then i guess...

What happened with Lanka today ?? Terrible fielding :facepalm

Gambhir and Kohli have fought their way back well, putting the pressure back onto SL.. they need to find a wicket soon.
