I just orderd this little beauty to add some extra kick to my conroe. Im quietly confident of reaching speeds of 3.2-3.5 Ghz. Not bad for a ?15 fan. :onpc

Water cooling is not in my budget siddarth, however according to reviews this fan will bring the temps under full load down to water cooled levels. No one has a bad word to say about it, thats good enough for me. :)

It its that good than might try it on my next PC although next gen procs should run fine on stock coolers given their die size.

It does look great. I think it should definately lower the temps considerably, too bad I cant get one of those for my PC because it isnt available here.

Exactly, we always get things late here ;)

This is very bad american companies develop the latest and send old stuff in India. I had enquired about a dual core processor and what have they released 1.86 Ghz only but on Intel website they are available upto 2.66 Ghz.

This is very bad what do they think of Indians. :mad :mad :mad :mad :mad :mad

Actually, I think it depends on what we import rather than them sending some random stuff.

Anyways back on the topic, Gas what is the default clock speed of your CPU.

2.4 Ghz. I could get it up to 3ghz with stock cooling, but it ran to hot for my liking.

Ok update.

Installed the cooler, it was a little awkward, just like intels stock coolers. But it was worth the effort, i also sliced my finger on the sharp metal fins, and it bleed like a mother............

Load up the system, whack it up to 3.25Ghz from 2.4Ghz, stock temp is 30-32c, under full load is 50c. Loving that, i have to say this cooler is bad ass, and cheap aswell.

Crickey, that's good. I'll keep it in mind when I build my machine, sometime around December-Jan when 9800 is out :) Although nothing beats a water cooling solution, happened to install one last year and quite a mission if you ask me.

Only just realised this thread... i got one of these a week back. Its silent the stock cooler sounded like my pc was gonna take off! Me and the gas are lucky guys having one of these. BTW is a hefty mother sandwich.
