Are faces very bad in c2004

I came to know that there are very few faces in C2004 , much of them are repeated , and those which are there are looking very bad as compared to c2002.I want to ask can we use the same faces like C2002 and kits and other things if the format of the files is the same

Can Cricket 2004 run with patches (which will be created) .Are all the files formats same as c2002.
