One of my friends (Thanks Placebo from Evo-Web) who is a video editing whiz has managed to zoom on the background footage of the Ricky Ponting interview so you can see the gameplay much better:

Cricket.wmv ? RGhost ? ?????????????

Enjoy and thanks Placebo!

It works for me, the video is at the bottom of the page, click play. You can also download the file from the top of the page.

Stuart Broad looks epic! And I think I saw Harmison, but theres a possibility of it being Bresnan :S

Also, fielding anims look epic!

Bowling run up is still that stupidly animated one, and looks robotic. TAOC has a good bowling annimation

Shot animations do not look right at all and too mechanical, not smooth in the slightest. Plus the shot that i assume was edge behind took an age to get to the keeper. Seemed to be mistimed shots that didnt go to high and werent caught though that look promising.

The developers already said that was just someone playing stupidly. It doesn't reflect the work they have done.

very identical to brian lara 2007... disappointed but i need a cricket game for my ps3

seriously...wtf are they on about!? It looks exactly like BLIC05, same terrible animations, exactly the same bowling actions, exactly the same batting anims, and once again, pull shots going to freekin fine-leg!!

This is looking like another shocker - I thought they would at least do the animations from scratch, in the least.

Not much to go by, but i havent seen anything remotely different OR impressive for that matter, nice job pulling the wool over everyone's eyes again.

^ I hate to agree but that seems to be the case. The batting and bowling animations look exactly the same. The six over cover shot was what really shocked me. IN BLIC 2005 and 2007 when a batsman hit the ball for six, there was no sense of power in the shot. I am a little disgusted to see the same animation (bowling and batting). Only thing that can save this game is improvement in control system that has been there as per some previews and A better AI that the developers claim to have implemented.

I seriosuly hope thats just 2007. Gameplay looks the same, animation looks the same, the state of gaming to cricket seems like it'll stay the same...
