I just though it might not be right for Sachin to come and face straight Akhtar and Sami after a such a long break from international cricket. He was short of match practise and i decided to sent him in middle order to provide more experience to the middle order. There is every chance that Sachin might open in next match.

Double blow by Kaneria in successive overs have put Pakistan in complete control of the match as india lost both theor set batsmen Tendulkar and Dhoni in terval of only 10 runs.

First to go was Sachin Tendulkar who tried to cut Kaneria's delivery which was way outside of stump and was in the slot to hit. But the ball took the outside edge and skied towards third man region where Sami took an easy catch. Sachin played well for his 21 but failed to convert this good start into a big inning.

In very next over, Kaneria provided the most important breakthrough as he got Dhoni cought behind by Akmal. Dhoni was well set and was on way of big inning which was eventually cut short on 61. India studdenly got reduced from 132/2 to 142/4. Raina and yuvraj are the new batsmen and they have to do reconstruct the indian inning again. This is also the last pair of recognized batsmen for India, so with another wicket Pakistan will be hoping to wrap up india below 200.

Both the important batsmen have been dismissed!!!! Important for the new batsmen at this stage is the rotation of strikes for few overs and get settled and then to go over the bowlers!!!! Both yuvi and raina are capable of!!!

Raina and Yuvraj hanged on for another 7 overs as they manged to protect wickets but could only score 18 runs in those overs. For Pakistan, the spinners did a fantastic job of containing batsmen. Both Kaneria and Afridi bowled acording to the set feild without giving anything away. Both batsmen even struggled to rotate strike as Pakistan hurried through the middle overs.

The run rate has now dropped to 5 rpo and with spinners doing a good job, it will fal even lower. For India, all kinds of troubles in the middle as runs are extremely hard to come by while they dont have many wickets left to play an aggressive cricket.

Yuvraj departs when he was most needed in the middle. Razzaq bowled a good out-swinging delivery which Yuvraj tried to chase away from his body but mangaed only an edge as Akmal took a good diving catch to his left. yuvraj goes after making painful 16 runs from 37 balls. Pathan now joins in Raina.

Raina has played well so far during his inning of 30 runs from 48 balls which included 2 boundaries. The run rate is now well under 5 and India needs some big hitting in the end to post a challenging target.

Brilliant feilding from Afridi at covers ends a good knock from Raina. Pathan guided the ball to covers and called for a single. Afridi came very quickly onto the ball and made a good throw to keeper where Akmal took the bails off as Raina was just short by inches. India lost another crucial wicket at a very important stage. Pakistan in complete control as India is now 6 down for 204 in 41 overs. Agarkar now joins Pathan.
