yes since Laxman will play i hear in the final. But the indians have an ordinary bowling attack. Only Pathan performs consistently. This is where they will lose out to the Lankans.

I think toss will be a big factor since its a d/n game but Sri Lanka are the favourites...far as the bowling concerns for indians Zaheer is not 100%, Nehra and Pathan will have to perform well and ofcourse kumble and harbhajan need to provide some miracle for indians...

As far as the Sachin goes he is the the world best batsman but he will have to play like how Jasuriya played in last match against India

Sri Lanka really played well thru the tournament.... Its like who ever come back from Australia tour they tend to play better....Like India and they beat Pakistan at home and now Sri Lanka and won the Asia Cup

I think Bangladesh need to tour Australia and might be they can pull some miracle and start winning matches..what you guys think?

Can't believe india went with 3 seamers. Tendulkar and Sehwag were the best Indian bowlers, and Kumble should have played over Nehra or Zaheer. Anyway, Sri lanka bowled exceptionally well after a relativily poor batting display and deserve to win. I think the Bangladeshis have enough on their plate, before a tour of Austrialia.

Sri Lanka have always been a tough nut to crack at home. But they dont do well overseas. I doubt this has anything to do with touring the aussies. As far as India is concerned, they never really do well in tournament finals, which is why I dont see them winning the Champions Trophy. Pakistan are very unpredictable, and Bangladesh play well in patches but are unable to maintain it. Hopefully Watmore will be able to improve things there, but I think its time for the players themselves to realise that they must step up their performance and start performing consistently.
