Excellent innings that from Ruturaj Gaikwad! He needed such a massive one for himself, considering the cut throat competition he faces from more aggressive top order batters for that opening spot. And he paced the innings beautifully, a'la the way he does for CSK! Weathers the storm at the start and then progressively accelerates without anyone knowing it and then goes slam bang!! His century was made all the more easy by a very PERPLEXING call by Wade to bowl Maxwell in that last over when you had Richardson and Stoinis.
