MARTYN GONE

Damien Martyn has become the 4th man to fall as the Aussie innings marches on. Martyn was caught in front off the bowling of Tendulkar who has kept the Indians alive in this game. Martyn tried to flick one off his pads but the turn off the pitch proved too great and resulted in his wicket?

HUSSEY FALLS AFTER 50

The Indians have started to pull back the Aussies after claiming their 5th wicket of the game. Michael Hussey had just reached a 50 and was looking in good touch when he was caught off and edge by Dravid at Gully. Hussey was forced onto the back foot trying to cut through point but didn?t get into position properly and paid for it with an edge to Dravid. The Indians now need to take this chance to reel the Aussies in?

Summary: The Aussies have posed a good total in an amazingly short space of time The Indians will almost certainly be forced to bat today which puts them under immense pressure to start well. The Australians definitely have a good advantage after some aggressive batting?

AUSSIES ALL OUT

The Indians have quickly finished the innings from a McGrath edge to Gully. The Australian tail and middle order provided some resistance but It was downhill from when Katich was caught at second slip and Gilchrist was caught at mid off. Warne amazingly tope edged a six over the keepers head but Lee disappointed the crowd with a duck. The Indians now need to focus on their innings and not loose early wickets...

SHOCKING START FOR INDIANS

Brett Lee has given the Aussies an ideal start to the innings by claiming Gambhir and Tendulkar very early. Gambhir was drawn into a block from a swinging delivery from Lee which got a thick outside edge to backward point. Lee then got a massive wicket, Sachin Tendulkar tried to cut a ball that cut away off the deck but nicked it to Gilchrist. The crowd went ballistic when the wicket fell and so did the Aussies...

DRAVID OUT

The Indians are in complete shock after loosing most of their best batsmen for just 11 runs. Rahul Dravid was forced into a ct shot from a brilliant leg-cutter from McGrath. All the rest was done by Gilly. The Indian crowd who had flocked to see some great bowling or batting will be extremely disappointed at what is unfolding before them...

SEHWAG SCORES 50

Virender Sehwag has scored a vital 50 and has taken some of the pressure off the Indians. Sehwag has not taken much time in scoring in and has taken the attack up to the Aussies. Laxman has been supporting him well at the other end as the Indians look to fight back...

AUS: 74/3

B.Lee 2/23 (9)
G.McGrath 1/25 (9)

Summary: A very action packed day with multiple half century's from the Aussies then Sehwag. This Indian partnership needs to stay alive for another 100+ runs so India can stabilize and begin to attack the Aussie score...
