Australian Domestic Cricket

It's hard to say, he does bowl short quite a bit but hes been getting wickets of them so it seems to encourage him to bowl there more often. In the matches I've seen of him, he hasn't got the line and length right. But if he gets that sorted, I would say he can definitely be a spinner for the future.

If I got my line and length sorted I could be bowling for Australia.... you can say that about anyone.

Anyway what do you guys think of Wes Robinson, he has a fab record.

You can have the best line and length in the world but if you do nothing with the ball you won't get anywhere. Hauritz has good line and length yet people still want him dropped. Stuart Clark another good line and length bowler can't find his way into the team. And the list goes on.

Starc with a 5 fer but somehow NSW let Queensland off the hook and now in a bit of trouble themselves.

Smith's batting is definitely more impressive, but it's hard to say much about a leg spinner at the age of 20. It's always a long term thing. He does have a good flipper, seems to drag it down a bit, but that encourages the mistake from the batsmen. I think number one is a bigger leg break. Accuracy is always good, but with his batting, he really doesn't need to aim to be economical if he can damage teams with big turn and clever variation. Even if he was picked as the primary spinner in a Test side, there's usually someone who can bowl containment.

Mitch Marsh also looked very good again, scoring 92 of WA's 193. First ever day-night game at Bellerive Oval.

Mitch Marsh looked great today, again! Different innings under big pressure coming in early this time. Good to see him at no. 4 too. Massive talent, great that he turned down the big AFL money.

Hes had to come in under pressure during FC and performed similarly. Shouldn't be too long before hes in the Aussie side in the shorter forms.

Just come back from the Tassie match. Pretty tight game but Butterworth and Krejza batted great. Pity though was that it didn't actually get dark until 8.45, when there was only 10 overs left. Great atmosphere though, way more than the official attendance of 3,000.

Nice to see Butterworth going well with the bat again.
Coulter-Nile had a match better second game compared to his first, hope he is stuck with.

Mitch Marsh again in the runs with a 50, hope he cracks the 100 soon.

NSW v Vic match lost a days play but we are finally underway. Lost both Khawaja and Jaques to Hastings but Hughes is still there. Smith also has been moved down the order, a shame we won't be seeing Steven this match.

Hughes could force his way into the Boxing Day Test with a good innings here.

BTW what's up with the Vic's using 3 spinners here?
