Australian Domestic Cricket

I reckon two a day is good. Like you said, A twilight game at 16:00 AEDT, and then at 19:30/20:30 AEDT you could have a night game elsewhere.

I'd love to see the day domestic cricket comes back to FTA televison. Channel Nine could broadcast the games, or even ONE HD, because they have the rights to the Champions League as well.

Even ABC?
 
Foxtel has the rights to domestic cricket for another 3 years, apparently Seven Ten and Nine are bargaining their asses off to get the Big Bash. But Foxtel aint budging.
 
TBH, I prefer Foxtel. The are very good because they actually specialise in sport. Anyway, the T.V Rights could work if there were two matches a day, Win (or whoever) can have one and Fox Sports can have the other.
 
Hmm, I don't know who I want to get it.

Nine's probably the best option, because One HD only has Beach Cricket commentators, Seven has none.

Cricket Australia would probably prefer it on FTA, seeing as quite a few cricket followers don't have Foxtel.

Yeah Fox sports is awesome. Commentary teams good too, Fleming, Julian, Mark Waugh, Belwett and a few others sometimes. They never get boring, especially when Fleming's commentating.
 
Yeah, have to give them credit for picking up what Channel Nine misses.

I just wish all cricket would be back on FTA, haha.

Just say Foxtel's very educational, I've probably seen every Simpsons episode 20 times:p

Imagine if foxtel and win combine up and start showing the Shield matches as well!
 
The first major tour that Nine missed was the tour to WI in 1995, I was so angry. They had shown the previous Ashes in 93, and the WI tour in 91. Channel Ten got the WI 95 series the DAY before the 1st ODI, I was so happy, but had already forked out for Galaxy ( Fox's old name). Nine only showed parts of the 97 Ashes and various WC games since. Pathetic. In 1997 Ashes the ABC stepped in to show the sessions that Nine wasnt, crazy.

When optus pay tv showed the Shield it was brilliant. From 95 to 2002 they showed about 10 or more Shield matches a season, awesome coverage, plus all the tour matches. Clarke playing when he was really young facing Donald, Mike Hussey's first FC ton in 95 vs Pakistan, Waugh brothers ripping Warne apart, so many huge moments they showed.
