Well, we won comfortably in the end thanks to some great bowling by the spinners and the two Internationals. Bit strange how Ten Doeschate only bowled the 1 over.

He bowled half a dozen bad ones, but they wouldn't have been in the game at all without those wickets and I guess at that point, they only needed one more. If they had been able to prevent that big Paine/Birt partnership, it might have been a closer contest.

I was at the ground and when Birt came out, i said to my mate, this is the last good partnership, and it was pretty poor by WA but 190 is going to be a tough total to chase, from what I've seen 160-170 should be a close game at the WACA

Well yea. Odly he has never been able to translate his domestic hitting style onto the international stage. I remember having a discussion with aussie1st about that couple months back.
