Australian Domestic Cricket

Wasn't even any of the Redbacks superstars, it was the medium pace of Christian that did the damage. Victoria starting to lose a lot more games now in this format.

Yea which is very surprising. They have a very strong side for that format.

They paid the price for being one dimensional. The Redbacks had O'Brien, Lyon and Rashid to bowl slow, while Christian and Pollard also tend to take pace off the ball.

Victoria do miss Andrew MacDonald in that regard, but they've been overlooking their spinners a lot and this was a wicket where they probably could have used two, even if David Hussey can bowl a bit.

Gayle's on a mission after not getting an IPL contract!

32 off that over!

Gayle is on fire!! 32 runs of this over. 7 overs and 94 runs.

He is showing anger of not selecting him in IPL :p

North is even useless in domestic. Why do they play their twenty20 matches here why not the SCG?? The outfield is pretty awful along with the boundaries.

Maybe giving it a rest after the test match?
Or does it have another international match coming up?

----------

It reminded my of Eden Park actually, with very short boundaries around parts of it.

204 is nice competitive total. It's going to be nice little time.

First the Chase of NSW and then the big T20 India vs SA :)

Hilfy probably bowled the best he has all summer, unlucky not to get Prior early and now Tassie are paying big time for that dropped catch.

Impressive innings from Prior batting the in middle-order of all places. Maybe a potential recall to the ENG T20 team.

Also lovely bowling from Krejza, turn & flight & loop (except for the full-toss to Bravo ha) as usual. Get that man back into the test side.

That not Krejza's fault. His style of bowling means he is not suited to bowling in T20S, since he should always be slogged. So anytime he comes out with decent figures its a feather in his cap.
