Australian Domestic Cricket

WA really missing Arthur, who is the wise guy that picked North to play? He can't even bat in the first innings.
Nice to see Lalor get some wickets. Hazlewood finally gets more than 3 wickets in an innings, next step 5 fer.

Anyone who supports aerial ballet has no right to comment on other sports in my opinion :p Pretty disappointed that they were allowed to infect our state with yet another club, and that they would tarnish the great colours of orange, black and white.

Anyway, onto a real sport. Pleasantly surprised with NSW's reply so far. Thank god for Jacques stabilising the top order. I was expecting to be 3/20 odd and then Katich and Rorher to fail again, leaving us 5/60 or something. And well fearsome tweak, Rorher just failed :facepalm

Damn lunchbreak. Gave me time to do some thorough analysis though, and if the Vics et al. want to complain about selections, complain about Tasmania. With a population of 500 000 and a whole 2 reps (Ponting/Lyon) in our 11. That's 1 per 250 000 people. NSW would have 29 reps with a strike rate that high.

/relevant data

Lyon's from Tassie?

Gave myself the idea to create the 43rd Bi-Annual Sedition's Selection Policy Based on Population XI. Working on the theory that you get 1 rep for roughly every 2 million people in your state.

NSW (4 reps) - Watson, Clarke, Cummins, Hughes/Khawaja
Vic (3 reps) - Pattinson, Wade, Hodge
Qld (2 reps) - Harris, Cutting
WA (1 rep) - M. Hussey
SA (1 rep) - No one decent, Khawaja comes in
Tas (0 reps) - Reproduce more.

So the official list of equality: Hughes, Watson, Khawaja, Hodge, Clarke, Hussey, Wade, Cutting, Harris, Cummins, Pattinson.

Oops, I was thinking of Doherty.

Hogan just delivered a vicious bouncer to the head of Patterson. Dunno how high his speed is, but looked at least 50 from here. Meanwhile Patterson reattached himself and is eying a hundred on debut for NSW I think.

This looks to be the other FC game that Cricket Australia is counting for Patterson - U19's Aus vs. WI

So yeah, NSW debut.

Patterson slashes Behrendorff away in disdain for 4 to bring up the century on debut. Pretty awesome to have had Katich alongside the whole way and outscoring him. Youngest centurion on debut for NSW too.

Australia Under 19 vs West Indies Under 19 - Match 1 2011 Australia U19s v West Indies U19s [3-DAY] Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai

So yeah, NSW debut.
That's a bit silly of them. Even assuming that u-19s are considered first class teams, it was 12 a side.

NSW boys love breaking records :p Congrats to Patterson played very well for that 100.

I wonder if Mitch Marsh has broken down again, fast becoming like his brother if true.

Patterson's going nuts out there as we set up for the declaration. Added over 50 runs in the space of about 25 minutes after tea. 200+ run partnership between he and Katich.

Damn, just got dismissed for 157 off 189 :clap

Yeah, can't wait to see more of him. WA's probably had enough though.

Katich played the perfect anchor role, deserved the 100, about time too as this camera is making me seasick.
