Hey all at planetcricket, - IM BACK

How is everyone. Just a quick message. Ive just purchased myself a copy of EAC2005. Looking at creating another story. First things first if someone could advise me as to the best patches out there to make it a totally up to date game (I havent used it for 2-3 years).

Secondly, when i look at creating a story would people prefer if i continued on with this thread (only as a new series and format) or create an entirely new thread. Any views, opinions or comments would be greatfully appreciated.

Expecting the new copy soon and looking forward to having a run at it again.

You bugger!!!! (meant in a nice way) I was browing the forum and saw this. I honestly thought I was seeing things or else someone had copied your story

Anyway, I have spent ages trying to get the perfect 05. I have found using Tutsi's to bat with and when bowling I use Doctor Pro's 2.0 Test and ODI patch, but use the 430834dfd47be8b1eaa97fa22706133a.big file from Tutsi's (Hope that makes sense) gets the best results.
Regarding rosters and kits we are all updating them (I just released an Updated English Domestic Roster and am now working on an Aussie version. Pakistani Army did an International Roster and that is my next task to update it.

Personally I think a new thread would be better. This is in the past and it was awesome, but PC is completely new these days, so a new MWaugh, new story a much better story forum

P.S. To everyone else. This is totally weird. This is the one guy who literally got me into the story forum when I was just a new member here. This is why I am totally over-reacting as if it wasn't for him I wouldn't have got the Story of the Year Award (Actually some credit goes to Suren as well )

thanks highlander. thats really nice of you and i appreciate your comments. sounds like a new story thread might be the way to go then. if your able to post any current rosters, bat packs, face packs and kit links (im struggling to find my way around this place at the moment its changed so much) it would be very very much appreciated.

Well just to tell you C2007 kits do work in C2005. If you want I will post them and download the appu's 150 batpack as it is the latest. Again i cant post it here if you want. Well face pack I have converted many cricket 2007 faces into cricket 2005. post the players you want i will again post it here..

MWaugh, you beauty. The story section is already quite active, and this is going to no doubt make it much better quality wise, despite the already high standard. Like Tom said, I think a new thread would be better for a new start and as most of the members won't know about the past history of this story.

Looking forward, with great anticipation, whether you continue this story or do a new one.

Yeah the 05 Download Centre is mucked up. However I have managed to work my way around it and here is the link (it should work)

I think I was too late to welcome you back and help you with the links.. Tom has provided those already. But still, here is what I am still using,

1) PlanetCricketV2 roster/bats released by Burma ( I created some new players myself though for Indian team)
2) Faces - Same legendary faces made by Saurabh. But I got some of the players face recently like Ishant, Gambhir from Shantanu ( those were made for c07 and shantanu converted to c05 compatible format )
3) AI patch - Tutsi's and some enjoyment with Vinay's patch for high scoring runs.
4) Match Editor for reasonable squad picking from CPU team.
5) Overlays - I think C05 has many good overlays >>>> c07. And I am sticking to ESPN-STAR still
6) Photoshop for editing images.
7) Kits - Punk's kits that were designed for C07. They are tooo good!

Can't wait for this story to start if you are going to make a new one, i was reading this story yesterday and is one of the better stories i had read along with Surens and Gamerkid's.

thanks to everyone for their posts. just trying to finalise the downloads now. is anyone able to provide the file for the unique face pack and the 4gb batpack. had a look in the downloads centre but the link takes me to the downloads centre (not sure if this is related to the mod dramas ive heard about or what). but if someone could post the files it would be much appreciated
