gilchrist shouldn't be there, if he is only as the back up keeper. he didn't really perform as he should have this season.

Our batting was great, but our bowling was just so bad!

Narrowed it down a bit - Any disagreements?

History has been made as Melbourne stamp their authority in APL! :banana2:banana2:banana2
Thank you Cameron White and David Hussey :D
290 was a good total to defend in a high pressure game but really delighted with the way the bowlers responded like they have been doing throughout the season!

Wooohooo! :happy

Lets enjoy the moment a bit longer this time instead of focussing our attention on the ALL STARS game :p

Tut, Tut disappointed. Its kinda annoying that your batsmen go slowly. Had Dhoni gone a bit quicker we could have made a match of it. The batsmen have been great this season, with the likes of Voges being nothing short of outstanding, and players like Dhoni, Hussey and Akmal performing whenever required. The only blip in the batting was the failure of the likes of Carseldine and Quiney. Needed one of them to have a good season, but they just didnt.

The bowlers have been important in our success too. Bracken and Mills got our campaign off to a great start, but they ran out of steam as the tournament went on, and we started losing more games. Harwood and Murali were consistent throughout the tournament, and Hopes found some fantastic form at the end.

2 Semi Final Spots in 5 Seasons is decent, but I think this is probably the best side that hasnt won it yet. I am running out of patience with Bracken so he is up for grabs this season.

Congratulations to Bcv. He had a unique way of drafting at the start of the season, but honestly his squad is just fantastic, and you could sense that this was his year.

Ah Well we could have made it to the CL. Never Mind, Volts are going strongly in the NZPL.

Great Stuff Biggy, your league is going great, but I somehow cant win this..:spy

Yeah, I feel the same. Though some might feel I don't have the big players but I do have a lot of faith on them.

You have a pretty awesome batting lineup but hardly any decent bowlers which is your problem I think

Congrats Sartaj, well played.

Congrats Biggy too for this wonderful league.

Also I have the same feeling that I'll be consistently reach the finals but would lose end our campaign every time.:p

Haha! Just noticed how my standings dropped with the advance in seasons.:laugh:facepalm

Will we need to release a minimum of two INT players and three DOM players this season?

I say reshuffle after five seasons, so give it one more with these squads.
I'm just wondering if we don't have a reshuffle, how many players will we need to release?
