Story Bangladesh Begin Blissful Age [India In Bangladesh]

You made a decent start there, when you were 1/46 but once you hit 4/53 you were in all sorts and crumbled. Not a good score and I can't see you defending it.

Good update mate, awesome read. kiu!

OOOHHHH YEAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! JAZ YOU ARE SO CRAP IT IS UNBELIEVEABLE!!!!!!!! Get a real job!!!!!! :p. YOU CAN'T WIN ANYTHING, YOU HAVE TO LIE JUST TO IMPRESS US PATHETIC :p. Great work Jaz KIU.

144 in 50 overs is a dismal total and despite the Indians' morale being quite low at the moment, I fancy their chances in this match.

Bangladesh should have attacked maybe 5-6 overs sooner as this would have allowed the score to get to 170 maybe even 180. That said I felt the spin duo of Kumble and Harbhajan was too much for some of the young Bangladeshis as they picked up 5-62 in 20 overs which is a remarkable effort.

Fantastic works Jaz. Keep up the good works! :clap

Comfortable Win Regains Pride

India bowled quite superbly to restrict Bangladesh under 150 and have the perfect opportunity to make the series 2-1; grabbing the only bit of pride left for them. Bangladesh on the other hand have all the odds against them and has been discounted by all as having a chance to win the match. It's a very one sided match so far but will Bangladesh throw another spanner in the works?

Sehwag and Jadhav versus Hossain and Rashid. A new battle, with Rashid in for his first International match this season. India had quite a sensational start, racing to 46/0 off ten overs, with both of their openers looking in good touch. They only needed 99 runs off 40 overs at 2.5 runs an over. Not the hardest looking run chase ever, considering the wickets in hand. Bangladesh had no chance.

Bangladesh brought Al-zabir on for some variety and in his first over he was hit for 19 runs thanks to four boundaries; two from each opener. Bangladesh were getting slaughtered, no two ways about it. They soon found their own way and brought the run rate down as Sunny went for a mere 2 runs in his first two overs. India were right on top, had the run rate, had the wickets in hand. They had everything, but Bangladesh always had the weapon of Sunny. Could he pull of a miracle?

Al-zabir was brought out of the attack after his four over spell unleashing Hasan onto India's batting lineup. He struck first ball. Sehwag may be a keen lover of spin but he's also too determined on his off side shots. The ball was on his legs as he attempted a cover drive, gifting Rahim the easiest of catches thanks to a massive edge. Sehwag gave India an explosive start before settling down but that was the end of his innings. 38 runs but a quality opening partnership of 85 runs. India on top, and not by just a little. 85/1.

V Sehwag - c Rahim b Hasan - 38(57)

Hasan was definitely productive as he picked up the wicket of Sehwag's opening partner Jadhav in his next over. Dheeraj Jadhav fell only 5 runs short of his half century but Islam bowled a beauty to make Jadhav edge it to slips. It was a very good innings indeed and one that has gifted India the match. However, Bangladesh are fighting back and two wickets for six runs is promising. Hasan leading the comeback? Who knows. 91/2.

D Jadhav - c Islam b Hasan - 45(64)

As soon as Sunny was out of the attack, India embarked on their destructive game plan. Hossain and Hasan were both targeted by some slog efforts by Tendulkar and Dravid, but they were well timed slog efforts. Hasan and Al-zabir slowed down the run rate but they were never going to make much effect. Finally, in the 32nd over, Rahul Dravid hit the winning runs to end the series 2-1. India had recorded a very comfortable victory.

Bangladesh never had a hope in Hell of winning this match after their dire effort with the bat. Sehwag and Jadhav were fundamental for India, both making decent scores, before Tendulkar and Dravid co-operated in great fashion and made sure India got home safely. Hasan and Sunny both can take some positives away from the game, especially Hasan. Hasan dismissed both opening batsmen, both settled, within his first eight balls and ended up with 2-25 off 6 overs. A very commendable effort. Sunny may not of picked up a wicket but was economical with the ball. 0-19 off his 6 overs were definitely a great sight for Sir Ian Botham in the stands, as he pondered the selection for England - Bangladesh's next tour. Bangladesh may have lost the battle, but they certainly won the war.

India win by 8 wickets

End of Innings - India 146/2
Jadhav 45
Sehwag 38
Hasan 2-25

V Sehwag - c Rahim b Hasan - 38(57)
D Jadhav - c Islam b Hasan - 45(64)
S Tendulkar - not out - 21(32)
R Dravid - not out - 36(44)

Bangla was never in it with a good chance but at Bangladesh has easily been the best team of this tour.

Hear, hear. Hear, hear. That is such a massive achievement against India aswell and hopefully we can continue it against England and New Zealand. Considering our form I am hoping for at least a draw in ever series. Aim high.

Good man, look at the positives:D

:D

Aye, definitely looking at the positives. No sarcasm, positives! :p

Never in doubt after that top start. When they smashed Al-Zhar was 19 off his first over that was truely the end and put any questions to rest imo.

Top update mate, kiu!

BRING IT ON!!!!! JAZ FOR THE SACK!!!!!!!! YOU FAIL AT EVERYTHING, YOU CAN'T BAT OR BOWL!!!!!! YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO TURN ON A MICROWAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great as usual KUTGW

Sad that Bangla lost...anyways you won the series 2-1 against a really strong team...anyways nice update mate :)

In your case I would have told all the bowlers to be on high aggression and keep a very attacking field. Would have gone down slogging from 53/4 after 20 too.
